A1 Northbound

Exit the A1 Leeming Bar onto the A684 towards Bedale. At Bedale turn right at the crossroads towards Leyburn, remaining on the A684 for approximately 9 miles. Upon entering Harmby turn left at the Pheasant Inn. Follow the road through Harmby and into Spennithorne. At the t-junction turn right and then right again. Thorney Cottages is at the top of this lane, through the archway.

A1 Southbound

Exit the A1 at Scotch Corner onto the A6108 towards Richmond. Follow the road through Richmond towards Leyburn. Once in Leyburn town centre, turn left at the round about towards Harmby (onto the A684). Upon entering Harmby turn right at the Pheasant Inn. Follow the road through Harmby and into Spennithorne. At the t-junction turn right and then right again. Thorney Cottages is at the top of this lane, through the archway.
