 Wensleydale is a walker’s dream with glorious walks to suit everyone and there are many excellent walks within easy distance of the property.The unspoilt countryside is as diverse as it is dramatic from rugged fells and open moorland to rich green valleys with tumbling waterfalls and delightful villages.

The nearby market town of Leyburn has its own particular charm with a wide variety of pubs, tearooms and gift shops. There is a market on Fridays and a farmers market on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Masham, Bedale and Richmond are all within easy reach, each with its own particular market town charm.
